DataPA’s real-time trading floor game at Connect 2009 offers MFG/Pro User group attendees the chance to win an Nintendo Wii .

A real-time, FTSE 100 trading floor game has been set up by DataPA at Connect 2009 offering all attendees the chance to try their hand at monitoring a stock portfolio in real-time using DataPA to report off a Progress-based system, the same technology as MFG/Pro.

With the opportunity to win a Nintendo Wii for the player with the portfolio that has increased the most in value during Connect 2009, this real-time trading game, is not to be missed!


Attendees can join in the trading game at DataPA’s exhibition stand where they will receive a FTSE 100 portfolio with a fixed starting investment value of £100,000.

Eager Stock Traders, wishing to keep their finger on the pulse of their portfolio’s progress during Connect 2009, can sign up for online access to DataPA’s Real-time Monitoring Service which will provide an up-to-the-minute view of the live trading floor, with leader boards, stock histories and summaries of the biggest movers available at-a-glance.

And with the option to schedule “Break-time updates during Connect 2009”, players can sit back and let the DataPA Scheduler keep them in the picture via email. Similarly, trading game proceedings can be accessed via mobile handsets available on DataPA’s exhibition stand.

The winning player will be announced following the final Q&A session at Connect 2009.

Register by 11am on Wednesday 23rd September at the DataPA exhibition stand.
