Kinnerton Confectionery is the largest independent UK company operating in the field of children’s and adult confectionery novelties, and the first confectioner in the world to offer chocolates that are manufactured in a Nut Free Zone.

Kinnerton uses QAD’s Manufacturing software for managing its business. DataPA provided Kinnerton with a solution that not only improved the quality of high level sales reporting but was one which could also be rolled out to users on the factory floor.

Increased Productivity

DataPA increased productivity and reduced the demand on IT for Kinnerton by improving high level sales reporting and making it much easier for end users to create their own reports and queries. Kinnerton deployed DataPA using the web interface architecture which enabled their end users to access all the required information via a standard web browser. Kinnerton also deployed the DataPA Windows Scheduler to automatically generate Excel spreadsheets of sales figures and email them at regular intervals to sales executives. This automatically provides the sales executives with accurate information in a format they can easily manipulate and understand.
