Whether you are a developer, administrator or end user, there is no better way to get started with DataPA than to use our dedicated training courses to ensure you are up and running quickly with the minimum of disruption to your business.
The course notes for all our courses are freely available below. However, if you would prefer one of our instructors to guide you through the material we have instructor led courses available both on site and on line. Available Course
The following series of video presentation aim to demonstrate the steps involved in getting started with DataPA. The clips run against the Appservers connected to the Progress Sports2000 database. This course is freely available.
This course covers the skills required to use DataPA to create reports using the designer and data exports to Excel and Access. The emphasis is on DataPA and how it interacts with these other applications, rather than necessarily how to use the data within those applications.

Instructor Lead Training
On site instructor lead training is conducted by one of our instructors at your offices or our training facility in Scotland. Courses can be tailored to your specific requirements. We prefer a maximum of eight attendees to ensure each student can receive the full attention of the instructor and typically the training will run one day for each of the courses covered.

On line instructor lead training uses virtual classroom technology to allow the benefits of tailored instructor lead training without the travel costs and disruption of bringing students and instructors together physically. The technology allows the instructor to share their screen, and view individual student's screens to help with tutorials and questions specific to the customer's environment. The training is broken up into 2 hour sessions, usually across a number of days to allow students to go away and practice what they have learned. We prefer a maximum of eight attendees to ensure each student can receive the full attention of the instructor and typically the training will run for 3 two hour sessions for each of the courses covered.
